Our zoo trip

On Thursday 4th August room 6/5  we were going to the Auckland Zoo for our trip and for this week we were  learning about animals and some facts about animals. When room 5 came into room 6, They sat down on the mat with their bags ready to go on the bus, Then Mrs. Hiskens did our role for room 6 and the parent helpers have been given their groups for room 5/6 and Ms. Dhaliwal has given her phone number and Ms. Hiskens number too. When we were ready to go to our parent helper to our groups and my group was with mason’s mum and the people in my group were Elena, Mason, when we have found who was our parent helper we had to double cheek our groups again and we lined up to go on the bus for our trip. Once we lined up in 2 lines we walked to the bus one by one and while all of us were on the bus we found a sit each and we drove off for our distention to the Auckland Zoo as our trip. Once we arrived at the Auckland Zoo, We got off the bus one by one and when everyone was off the bus the bus had left. We had to get into 2 lines 1 side room 6 and the other side room 5. 1 of  the zoo keepers has introduced herself and the other zoo keeper was there as well. His name was PJ  and we have entered inside the zoo and by looking around it was so beautiful by the things around me. While Mr. PJ took us on a tour around the zoo and the first tour round the zoo was a animal that was a giraffe. They were 4 of them by looking at them they kinda looked like a cheater like its spots. And we saw 3 rhinos some people thought they were white rhinos but there is only 1 white rhino in the HOLE world. After that we saw the only 1 elephant that her name was burma. she only eats leafs and plants and she only has 1 stomach and she is a herbavor. And we sat down (room 5 and 6) on each side and we were talking about sustainability  and we had some good ideas of what it means and we already knew what sustainability was and means. After 15 minutes we went back where we were before and we were still talking about sustainability and some good things of meaning about it. And the rubbish is kinda not good for animals

My Healthy Mind post

My Healthy Mind to me is about eating healthy, and not eating unhealthy everyday maybe it can be a treat to you!

What does it mean to have a healthy mind? What might this look like, sound like, feel like etc

A healthy mind of how it looks like is that you might be sitting somewhere that’s comfit to you? Or like reading a book or doing some work and keep going and going!. A healthy mind of how its like is just that you might be thinking about sometime you wanna do for lunchtime or hangout with friends that maybe will make you calm?. A healthy mind of how it sounds like is that you maybe will just hear birds? Or someone that might need you? And other stuff?. A healthy mind of how it feels like (etc) is that you might be calm or doing games that are fun with your friends or others that you would like to have your healthy mind?.

and What are things you can do in your everyday life that can help you have a ‘healthy mind’? here is my idea for it!

I might do things like.. Reading books in a quiet spot at school? Or playing with friends/family (anywhere?) or someone in your family that comes to your school? And continue things that you might do everyday for your healthy mind!.

also, What are some things that you already do in your everyday life that help you to care for your healthy mind?: here is my other idea for it.

I might do things that i like? Or taking care of my healthy mind?, or maybe taking care of my mind that won’t damage my healthy mind?, or just do things that you do everyday with your friends? Or something you do in class when you have completed your work?. And other things that you might do! (maybe hangout with your brother or sister at school?.)

and last one is, What is a habit? What does it mean? Are habits positive or negative? What are some habits that you know of, or that you have?:

A habit is like here is a example:

For example, one person might have a habit of smoking a cigarette when they drink alcohol. Another person might have a habit of brushing their teeth before bed. Basically, a habit can be anything that is repeated enough times to become automatic. You don’t really have to think about doing the thing anymore.

And  A Good habits are those repetitive actions or behaviour you want to repeat. They have positive physical, emotional, or psychological consequences. Bad habits are those actions you repeat that have negative consequences. Some bad habits are harmless, while others can have a deeper, long-term impact?. And maybe a habit is negative? Or maybe positive? Cause i think that it’s positive.

And that’s all for my own.. Healthy Mind.

My Identity and values

So, how does our values and identity affect our “Healthy Minds?” so what affects our identity and values is that Identity formation and evolution are impacted by a variety of internal and external factors like society, family, loved ones, ethnicity, race, culture, location, opportunities, media, interests, appearance, self-expression and life experiences.?

What we did for our Magic Egg experimentđŸ„š

So firstly we got our ingredients –

  1. A egg
  2. A jar
  3. A bottle of vinegar

On Wednesday we drooped in the egg into the jar and secondly we poured the bottle of vinegar into the jar and something different happened a few seconds in a shook, there was a lot of bubbles fuzzing around the egg and it looked really massive and a little big long and we had to wait for 24 hours till Thursday and we placed it on the table with a few paper towels. Then on Thursday Mrs. Cox grabbed the jar and placed it on the yellow table and everyone from the mat gadded around the table to see if the egg has any changes/differences and it as, Its skin as plied of looking white and its position was from the bottom to the very top of the jar a little big half way and we cover the bottom of the jar with paper towels and explaining how it has changes and how its made a big difference and when we were done explaining how it was changed and Mrs. Cox cut the egg from the middle and the inside has not changed for some reason over the 24 hours.
